Prevention with Positives: Integrating HIV Prevention into HIV Primary Care

In April 2011, new Prevent with Positives clinical guidelines were published by the Office of the Medical Director, New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute in collaboration with the John Hopkins University School of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases. This chapter focuses on the importance of ongoing secondary prevention and its required combination of strategies that includes medical, behavioral, programmatic, individual, and community-level interventions
