REMINDER: YOU CAN STILL VACCINATE YOUR PATIENTS AS FLU SURGES IN NEW YORK – People with HIV/AIDS are considered at increased risk for serious influenza-related complications and should receive a flu shot. The nasal spray vaccine is not safe for people with HIV. To read more click here.

Medicaid Managed Care Pharmacy Update – DOH has launched a Pharmacy Benefit Information Center. When specific patient issues arise, providers can e-mail PPNO or call the pharmacy line at 1-518-486-3209. Be prepared to share patient specific information including Medicaid Client ID & name of health plan for follow-up.
