Here is important information from the Office of the Medical Director AIDS Institute:
- Physicians who are engaged in QI through participation in HIVQUAL-US or the NYSAI Quality Program can earn Maintenance of Certification credit. The application deadline has been extended to October 1st. Click here for more information on qualifying Boards and enrollment procedures.
- Are you listed in the NYS HIV Provider Directory? Please complete this form and e-mail a completed copy to hivproviderdirectory@health.state.ny.us ASAP. The form takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
- Showcase your successes in Prevention with Positives! Submit your success stories to PozKit by e-mailing wsg01@health.state.ny.us.
- The Mental Health committee of the Clinical Guidelines program has posted and printed an updated Mental Health Screening: A Quick Reference Guide for HIV Primary Care Physicians. The card contains information and screening tools to perform a mental health assessment, and a checklist of common triggers that can prompt mental distress.
