HIV Education and Training Programs is responsible for coordinating training and information dissemination efforts to support the ongoing effectiveness of non-physician health and human services providers involved in the field of HIV/AIDS. The program is responsible for working with a broad range of health and human services providers to assess training and information needs and to develop an array of strategies to respond to these needs. The program works to respond to the changing course and long term trends in the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

HIV Education and Training Programs offer trainings on a wide variety of topics including: behavioral counseling, case management, harm reduction, HIV testing, policy and legal issues, treatment, prevention and other specialized trainings.
