PEP Line

In collaboration with the National HIV/AIDS Clinicians’ Consultation Center (NCCC), the New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute offers the HIV Post-Exposure Prophylaxis Line (PEP Line) for providers needing consultation with an HIV Specialist regarding the management of exposure to bloodborne pathogens. The PEP Line operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. PEP Line clinicians will assist callers in assessing of risk of the exposure, discuss the most recent New York State post-exposure prophylaxis guidelines, and review specific treatment and follow-up options.
